i have a Dell XPS 14, i7 intel core, 8 gb RAM.

When i installed windows 7, i deleted the partitions of my internal hard drive 465 gb as it is necessary for a clean install of windows 7. i have installed all the drivers that matches my dell service code and the windows updates. But the internal hard disk did not show up. It does show in the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" software (Screen shot in attachment) but does not show up on "My Computer" or in "Disk Management". I can only see the one drive (Screen shot in attachment).

How can i make windows detect it?

You installed on SSD. Did you clean partitions on internal harddisk when installing windows (not necessary, just a question)? Was internal harddisk working prior to reinstall?

Look in eventlog for relevant errors

I cleaned partitions of both disks (clicked on the delete button). I did install it on my main drive (disk 0 in the image below) which is working properly. Yes it was working properly before installing windows 7.

Both disks are shown visible and online on command prompt. But disk 1 does not have any partition. See attached image below.

dint work..i typed this
diskpart select disk 1 create partition primary select partition 1 format fs=ntfs label=Data quick assign letter=P exit in command prompt in the "repair your computer" and everything was successful. So i restarted and there was no p drive detected.

i restarted and typed "dir p:\" but it said that the location could not be found.
Am i doing something wrong??

Did you check eventlog already?

So partition has been formatted succesfully. It's not called P after reboot, but something like F, or G

Code:
diskpart
list vol
tells you the drive letter the OS assigns to it

Uninstall "Intel Rapid Storage Technology". Or uninstall that driver. Use default win7 sata driver.

Open device manager. Expand branch "IDE ATA/API controllers". Right click on the intel sata driver->upgrade driver. From computer. Pick from list. Put checkmark at "display compatible hardware" (or something alike)
Now click on "standard AHCI1.0 serial ATA controller", press next.

Just what I thought. WinRE uses that driver and it works. But what error did "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" detect?! Check eventlog
