Save Pathping/tracert results??

Hi,
I need to be able to save both Tracert and Pathping results. I play WoW all the time and lately its been lagging like all get out..In order to get Blizzard and Telstra to address this (I dont expect Telstra will do anything ) I need to save and post/email results to both companies as they show extremely hi packet loss etc.

Have tried several different commands with no success. Tried marking all and using ctrl+win key+c to save to clipboard with no success.

Anyone had to do this before that can advise me how to save this? Need to get this sorted asap, all help appreciated

If you are talking about saving from Command Prompt, the you right click on the cmd screen > select all > right cick again on the cmd screen, that will save it on the clpiboard.

Try this from the command prompt.

pathping [B][I]site[/I][/B] >>C:\Users\<Your UserName>\Desktop\filename.txt

tracert [B][I]site[/I][/B] >>C:\Users\<Your UserName>\Desktop\filename.txt

If you don't want to copy and paste, you can append >log.txt to any command to save your files to a log file. If you wish to save it within your user folder, simply use the shortcut %USERPROFILE%. Here's an example:

tracert 127.0.0.1 >%USERPROFILE%\log.txt

or

tracert 127.0.0.1 >log.txt

Use >> if you've already created the file and don't wish to overwrite previous results.
