Screen zoomed in windows 7

I am unable to adjust the zoom on the screen, it is zoomed in and applies to every function. I have tried adjusting the screen resolution in display settings in the control panel, this has had some effect but has not returned to normal. I have tried Ctrl 0 to find that it is already set to 100% (default) zoom. I have also checked that my driver is up to date. Please help, I don't know what else to do.

Hello Rio, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Double check your DPI settings to make sure it's set at 100% (96 DPI). If it's set to a higher percentage, then that would make everything appear larger.

In that case, double check to make sure that Magnifier is disabled.

Is it set to the native resolution 1600 x 900 ????

As per rio77 My System Specs.

Graphics Card Microsoft 6.1.7600.16385

It shows no SP-1 installed.

A good place to start would be to Update Windows 7 including SP-1.

Many things might not work properly with out Windows 7 being updated properly.
