Every time my Win 7 PC wakes up from sleep, there is an empty Search Box on my desktop. How do I stop this from appearing each time?

Have you got Sidebar enabled? It could be one of the gadgets wanting you to search for something.
Could you give us a screen shot of it anyway? It would be easier to identify what's going on.

The Search box is back today after awaking from sleep. Nothing is pressing on F3, but that does toggle the same box on and off. I noticed that even though I deleted any saved searches from my Users Searches folder, after awaking there is a Saved Search of Indexed Locations that appears in the Search folder. Even if I delete that, it is re-created on the next awakening. I have gone into Indexing options in the Control Panel and deleted all indexing too. What can I do now to fix this?
