Ok I thought that second copy was supposed to mirror whatever drive I have it set up with?

Its seems to copy all new stuff from my main media hdd to my passport, but isnt deleting & organizing the old stuff like I did on my main media hdd?

Any ideas how to get it to do so?

Im not familiar with that particular program but it sounds like you are running incremental backups that will only copy new files to the ext drive, if you delete files on main drive they will stay on ext drive if already copied previously, if you want the ext drive to be an exact copy of the main drive then run a full backup everytime

Yeah its a pretty popular program, i'm surprised I dont have more people commenting who are familiar with it.

I assumed it was some setting that I needed tick so that it mirrors the hard drive & not just copies new stuff. I was just hoping someone here easily knew where it was.

I think the problem is with the setup of the backup profile you are using
Select to create new profile and under the "How?" tab make sure you have exact copy selected
By default it will be set to simple copy which will only add files to destination drive, setting an exact copy profile should keep a mirror image of the source drive everytime it runs

Hmm. Is there away to just edit the "how" of my current profile? I dont want to have to re-backup 200g worth of media with a new profile...

I looked under "properties" but it didnt give me any option for "exact copy"?

Actually I just found it, I had to run the "custom" profile under properties, it was on Simple Copy instead of Exact Copy. I've since changed it & now its re-running for an exact back up.

Thanks for the help.
