Everyone, Peace Be Upon U

I made a program let's say like MS Access file and put it in USB dongle, I want this file to be readable and writable but can't be deleted, moved, copied, cut or renamed, Is it possible to do that?

Is there a way to make the file executable only on a specific PC or MS Office?, Something like licensing or else.

If not possible here, Is there any third party who can do that?

My Best Regards

If you can "read" a file, you can copy it -- if not directly, then by pasting the read content into a new file.

If you had an account that existed only on a single PC, you created that file with that account, and then removed permissions for all others for that file, that might protect it from being accessed on any other PC. But, the security is account-based, not PC based.

The search for a good means of protecting software distribution media has been going on for decades. Many methods have been tried but none are completely satisfactory.

If you can get your hands on a USB drive you have the mass production tools for (Chipgenius is the program to identify it, then you need to search around in chinese sites with the controller's ID code, then download the right mass production program), you can turn the whole drive (or a small part of it) into a virtual CD drive and "burn" an iso files into it (creating the iso file and placing stuff into it can be done with any iso creator program). That will mean none without access to the same mass production tools (which means a large majority of the world) can modify or delete the contents.

As for copy protection... heh. No way.

you created that file with that account, and then removed permissions for all others for that file, that might protect it from being accessed on any other PC...
... that is running Windows. Mac and Linux will ignore the restriction.

Thank u for the replies, What about auditing & encryption? Is there a way to make use of them, If not then what is the best solution or option to maintain the security of folders & files (let's leave the copy protection aside)? At least not to be accessible or deleted even if it cost money.
By the way I found USB flash with security switch (Copy protection as well) unfortunately unwritable.
