Solved Security Update (KB2709715) - Failed to Update, Code 8020000E

G'day,

I'm having some trouble installing the above update. I've run the MrFixIt utility, but still get an error trying to install this update. Can someone recommend a solution to try?

This is an Asus X54C netbook running a clean install of Windows 7 Professional x64 OEM.

Solved by downloading and manually installing from here:

I used your suggestion to manualy apply an update causing similar problems for me. It worked. KB2862330 failed with "Error details: Code 8020000E" was my issue. I installed the update Windows Updates are flying in and installing.
