Hello everybody,
I'm stuck with the installation of SP1 on a windows 7 ultimate n.
The following information could be hopefully helpful:
- Using windows update, the error code is 8024200D (as reported in the subject).
- Using the SP1 downloaded on the MS website, the installation procedure starts and exits after some minutes with the same error code.
- sfc /scannow doesn't report any integrity violation error.
- The CBS.log file reports the following error (different code than windows update, anyway), which seems to cause the setup to abort:
Microsoft-Windows-RemoteFX-VM-Setup-LanguagePack~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~en-US~6.1.7601.17514, Update: INF_ts_wpdmtp, PinDeployment: x86_synth3dvsc.inf-languagepack_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.17514_en-us_f2a2ab0191202f9a
2014-09-17 20:14:10, Info CBS Failed to find file: x86_microsoft-windows-mediaplayer-wmvsdk_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.17514_none_a832b14d84e3325d\WMSysPr9.prx [HRESULT = 0x80070002 - ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND].
Please notice that
- Windows is running on a fresh installation (PC formatted and re-installed 2 days ago).
- I'm currently running the "N" version of Windows (meaning that Media Player is not installed by default, although I downloaded and installed the WMPlayer11 from the Microsoft's site just after reinstalling the OS)
Could you provide any help?
Thank you in advance,
Alex
