After a cursory search, I see this has been addressed before. The Service Pack 1 update has been throwing me errors for way too long on a seldom used laptop. A friend "promised"
that Noel the Magician would be able to suggest a solution. I've run SFC and SURT, (even SFCfix), Ccleaner and Malwarebytes which all report system clean except this issue.
I do have satellite internet with a data cap so am only able to do large files during the bewitching hours when bandwidth is free.
I hope I've included the necessary info: A huge TIA
