Solved Set computer to sleep, desktop settings disappeared.

Hello, I set my computer to 'sleep' mode on windows 7 and when i turned it on ~20 hours later, my background was replaced by the default background and all my pinned items on the taskbar were completely removed, nothing is pinned now. I tried running a game called League of Legends and it says "pvp.net patcher kernel has stopped working". I also tried running intel rapid storage technology, and it stopped working with a similar reason. They worked flawlessly previously, so I think it's related to this issue. Notepad, and chrome is working however. I tried restarting, ran a quick virus scan with mse, and system restored to the 23rd. Anything that won't run like League, Steam, or Skype works when I run it as an administrator. I can't pin anything to my taskbar, I open the program, and when I click 'pin to taskbar', it acts as if it cannot be clicked. Please help, this is really annoying.

Only have one account.

Try with another account in order to see if it is an account issue or OS wide.

Yeah, it occured on the 27th, I restored to the 26th and 23rd.

System Restore didn't fix it?

Try Tweaking.com - Windows Repair run it in Safe Mode with Networking.

If that doesn't work, do you mind some copy-pasting? The new account you created should work.

Alright, first time I ran it, I got 'Untitled Post' | TextUploader.com . After running the repair tool and following the instructions, I have 'Untitled Post' | TextUploader.com .
On a seperate note, since my other account works, is there any way I can transfer all my files to the other account easily as a solution? Thank you so much for the help.

Problems were found with the Reparse Points.
You can use the Repair Reparse Points Tool at the bottom of this Window to try and fix these problems.

So, did you try the Repair Reparse Tool?

And yeah, you can copy paste to new account.

Yeah, I used the repair tool twice, first time it created less version, the second time the errors stuck. How do I copy and paste my things to another account? Would I go to computer>harddrive>steam (copy and paste the steam folder into my new account) and steam would work? Thanks.

Go into the folders that you have data in (pictures, music, documents, favorites etc) and copy them, then paste in the corresponding folder inside new account.

Steam is the easiest, where is it installed now? Maybe you won't even need to move it. You may need to copy paste individual games' appdata folders to get your savegames.
