Setting a reoccuring alarm at 15 minute intervals

How do I set an alarm to go off every 15 minutes on my computer. Would I need to download a specific programme and if so, which one?

I don't think has an audible beep but rather a popup window alarm. You can write a simple DOS .bat script to issue a CTRL-G (beep) character (via the ECHO statement).
