Setting the “num lk” to be ON,

Setting the “num lk” to be ON,

I’m wondering which setting of windows/Bios that switch the “num lk” to be ON as the machine starts.

Originally, I couldn’t figure out why this “num lk” is for? Who needs it to be off?

Mine is windows 7 64 bits

Hello Jamal,

There may be an option to enable or disable numlock in your BIOS settings.

You might also see if using OPTOIN ONE in the tutorial below with it set to 2 may help.

I’m sorry but sounds that the problem is there again.

The “InitialKeyboardIndicators” is set to be “2” (attached), never the less, the “Num lock” is off as the machine starts

What might be the issue?

As stated earlier, if you turn numlock on in the bios, it will always be on after you boot the machine.

I do it in the bios, if not you have to keep turning it on when you boot the machine. Is there a light on your keyboard telling you when it`s on. I prefer it on because I`m always using the numbers.
