Hello,

I have a computer that has been getting random BSOD's this week. The user does NOT have admin access on the computer, so she can't install anything without getting permission. this computer is part of a AD domain (SBS 2011 AD controller)

I ran the BSOD tool twice and I attached the corresponding zip files.

Please let me know if I need to provide anything else and your help is greatly appreciated it.

Thanks!

If the used does not have admin access to the computer, it might be difficult to troubleshoot the issue.

Uninstall McAfee Security Scan Plus. It is not anything installed intentionally, but a side effect of careless update to Adobe flash player or adobe reader.

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
Let us know the situation after doing these two. Further troubleshooting will be needed depending on the situation.

Edit: Uninstall Kaspersky using Kaspersky Removal Tool. At least as a test. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.
