SFC Scannow found corrupt files but can't fix them. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've never had corrupt files that could not be repaired, but my guess would be:

1: ignore them
2: repair install from your installation disc
3: clean install from your installation disc.

Hard to say what the necessary result of ignoring them might be. If they bother you, you are probably down to choices two and three.
