SFC /ScanNow "found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them"

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me I have two issues but I will post the other in another section.

I have tried to fix my windows updates which were giving me errors and install a new driver for amd which also gave me errors. I have now fixed these two issues but ran into more things that are wrong. One being I am unable to log into windows safe mode which I have a snap shot of the screen.

But the main reason for this post is in trying to fix those other issues I run "sfc /scannow" but got an error message "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them."

I have done the following so far:

1) Opened up an elevated command prompt
2) del %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
3) sfc /scannow *Waited for this to finish before continuing*
4) copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt

I am not sure how to fix any of the files in the cbs.log/txt or how to identify which are corrupt.

Boot from the installation disk, go to repair and launch a CMD window.
- Type chkdsk c: /f . Pay attention on the results, specially bad blocks and / or bad clusters.
- Type sfc /scannow. Run it 3 times.

Thanks for the feedback Megahertz07. I've done that and no bad blocks or bad clusters were found running chkdsk c: /f and sfc /scannow returned the same results all three times.

If the error is NOT "USBxxxxx" run the standard repair tool
KB947821. copy/paste the log.

The "USBxxxx" errors reported in sfc have been turning up quite regularly lately, pretty sure MS has borked another update.
For the moment unless you have an operational problem please ignore it
