SFC/scannow

When I open cmd (as administrator), I wrote sfc/scannow, because I needed to do a system scan. after writing sfc/scannow, and typing enter, I get a message that states:
Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation
Does anyone know how to fix this, if you do, please reply quick.

You could attempt to run the process through safe mode or the windows disk using the repair option then opening a command prompt.
