There's a shortcut in existence already, entering --- or any other border-like character and pressing enter will automatically result in a horizontal line.
However, this isn't the horizontal line I am looking for. The horizontal line created from this shortcut is terrible to remove. I've to go to the Ribbon Menu to remove it via Borders.
There's another horizontal line insertion method which appears to insert a different type of horizontal line. This can be easily clicked on and removed.
See this webpage > How to insert horizontal line in Word 2013
I am looking for a shortcut for this.
Thanks for reading my wall of text
