i dont think anything you've said here is correct. 7 is more like vista done right then vista sp3, it's a very stable user friendly OS that also has a lot of features directed at power users built in. maybe your just looking at the exterior and thinking "hey it looks similar to vista so it must be the same."Win 7 is based completely of Windows Vista. I feel like Win 7 kind of is Vista SP3.. Due to Vista's failures, I expect to see more and more companies upgrade from Vista almost immediately.
The upgrade from XP to Windows 7 will be much much slower. Companies will have to wait for software to be fully tested before upgrading, just like what happened with XP to Vista.
- I'm not the only one that believes it.. Windows 7 Is Vista's Twin and Windows 7 - Like Vista, just a bit easier to use and less annoyingi dont think anything you've said here is correct. 7 is more like vista done right then vista sp3
- Companies have been waiting to switch from Vista since they first installed it. Where have you read about a phenomal upgrade rate from XP to Win 7 for businesses? If anything, companies will be even more weary about upgrading.also 7 has a phenomal upgrade rate, companies are eagerly switching from both xp and vista to adopt it
- I completely agree.. that's the corporate world! 6 months may be an understatement though, there are still thousands of companies that haven't upgraded or even considered to upgrade to Vista. In today’s global market and information age, the last thing you want to do is run an OS that’s less than 6 months old. That’s bad business in my opinion.
