Should I allow these updates to MS?

I run a script that blocks updates to software until I say "yes". Every ten minutes windows pop up asking me to update:

MS Office (I've never used it) 2010 (this is a 2012 Dell 'puter) cvh.exe yet it tells me the change is in a .doc file extension.

msoo.exe

Ok to allow changes?

I'm no expert but I do have a idea.
Is Office 2010 a Starter Office that came loaded with the new computer?

If so it has a time limit that it can be used free for trial purposes. After that time period you will get a pop up asking you to buy a full Office 2010.
If this is what is causing your problem their are two ways of stopping the pop up that I know of.
1. Update the Office to the full retail version.
2. Remove Office Starter that came with the computer.

No, this is the warning that exe and doc files are to be changed.

Msoo.exe is one wanting to be changed but a search shows it can be an exploit. I think I will turn off the pop up abd delete Office. The warnings creep me out.

Three Office programs removed. Starter, Office and Click-To-Run. No errors but I haven't rebooted yet. Thank you. Will check your links tomorrow
