Hello guys, I rarely ask for help because there’s always google but I can’t seem to figure this one out.
So after downloading file in every browser show in folder button does not work. I use Chrome but also installed Opera to verify the problem in multiple browsers.
What I already did:
1. Obviously scanned for viruses and malware. Comodo + free Malwarebytes antimalware.
2. Disabled plugins in Chrome and cleared cookies and cash.
3. Created new profiles in Chrome.
4. Reinstalled Chrome.
5. Used free CCleaner to clear registry.
6. Uninstalled updates to IE. (googled this)
7. Tried to set Chrome as default application in Control panel.
All this to no avail, I didn’t try only 1 thing I can think of, reinstall Windows which is very frustrating.
