That's a real nice system ;)

Gonna have to do something about that HDD.

Prices are dropping on SSDs, with all them empty bays you surely have room for a little 2.5" SSD.

All you need, unless you have a huge amount of apps, is a 40-80GB SSD for OS and apps.
Something to consider

How do you like the H50?

thanks! :geek: i'm having fun with it. as for the H50, i added a second fan in a push pull config and it keeps the CPU very cool, even when running GIMP and playing Crysis at the same time.....

Not too bad for a 250GB Seagate Barracude 7200RPM 12th generation SATAII HDD. Only cost 40 bucks, and it has a pretty good burst rate to it [considering my system specs]. Guess I can't complain. :D

Took new screen prints with nothing else running, here they are:- the first is 3x 320 Western Digital Caviar drives in Raid0 These drives three years old. The 2nd is 2x Seagate 1Tbye drives in Raid0 quite new. The third is 2x Hitachi 71(500) 2.5" drives in Raid0 brand new.
I have another pair of 750Gb drives about 2years old and not yet configuered in Raid0 to try a little later.
The fastest will go in my Main machine which runs Win 7 Ultimate x64 the slowest in my Backup machine which runs XP profesional x64.

Looks like the 2x Seagate 1Tbye drives in Raid0 are the winners.

Quite an improvement from the 320 Western Digital Caviars.
