ah, i guess that must be the best way, as I do find the gaps between monitors annoying (and in my case, the completely different picture height)
i wish streaming worked for usOrb would be great, but the interent connection here is really slow. Over the lan was strangely also slow, and the closest I currently have to a HTPC is a half set up XBMC

Yea, I just stream over LAN from the file server. My htpc is just an old pc running xbmc, with a media portal backend for recording tv.

I think first on the agenda is a screen that can have as many of my retro consoles connected at once, then next up is a scarily good home made PC, then a pretty decent HTPC (along with a completely new home network
