It looks to be a Modular Power Unit, can't you just remove the unneeded cables? does your case have an area behind the motherboard mounting board to move all the cables to?

Well it took awhile for me to find the time to install my now old...lol H100 cooler. It turned out my fears of having to pull out the mobo completely because the access hole in the back of my Element V didn't line up to the MSI mobo was for not. It turned out that by taking out some of the mobo screws allowed me to push the mobo (not highly advised) and flex it to allow me to remove the H50's base and install the stock MSI AMD base and retention plate (H50 and the H100 not interchangeable ). So with out further a due I'm cooler by 2 degrees celsius while pushing 4.1Mhz vesus 4.0 before right out of the chute ! F'g fantastic product ! I'm 30.2 c ambient currently with the cpu at 40c.

Looks great!! I've been thinking about switching out my H70 for H100. The H70 work great but could get away with higher OC trys with the H100, I'm guessing..

I installed the stock 140mm case fan outside of case then installed the H70+ 1 of its 120mm fans inside case. Used the 2nd 120mm from the H70 to go in the Gpu tunnel.

JM 4X4,
I'm letting the TP settle in then I will begin my OC push. But I'm very pleased with the performance to cost and as I can use the H50 in my second system and then sell my Zalman air cooler on the cheap it was a good upgrade. This all being said does this compete with a real water system........I fear it can't but if your case has the space for it it's a great performance to cost upgrade IMHO! You just can't beat a sealed system for convenience.

For the price of the sealed systems you cant beat how good they work! No they wont compete with a full water system. Would love to have a full system but I gotta wait till I've got all the parts I want to have first...lol My case is HAF X so I got the room!

What higher than the 5.5ghz you got iirc Jeepman lol!

Perhaps you could run it at a higher speed than you currently have it set at for a 24/7 clock but I don't think you will get any higher than 5.5ghz, I was amazed how good a chip you got! :D

Sweet rig btw linnemeyerhere

@paulpicks21, Cheers my friend this system is amazing for me. There are much faster and crazier rigs but for what I'm doing I'm on the moon over the speed and stability on this relatively cheap rig. If you blink you've just opened Photoshop and missed it opening, open any program and flash it's there.

I could run it higher than my 24/7 OC now but I dont want anymore than that for a 24/7......but when playing with OC's when I hit 5.2ghz+ it gets a little too hot to really see if I could get stable that high. I dont know if I could get higher than the 5.5ghz, have not even tried at 5.6+ because I know I cant cool it enough with what I got.
I'm also amazed at this chip, want to push it but dont want to kill it! As it is one of the "Golden Ones". My luck I would kill it and get one that couldn't even hit my 24/7....lol

Good job

I have been going to take apart several of my Noctua fans and paint them, I cannot stand that nasty color scheme but the fans are great. Kind of like me I guess, ugly as hell but a hard worker. LOL

Kipper,
Thanks and your right about the ugly color scheme on the Noc's. I actually called them to complain and they were quite indignant and held that the color and make of the plastic was somehow crucial to performance. But the performance is without question and my system isn't set up as a show rig, if it was I think I would trade noise for looks.

Kipper,
Thanks and your right about the ugly color scheme on the Noc's. I actually called them to complain and they were quite indignant and held that the color and make of the plastic was somehow crucial to performance. But the performance is without question and my system isn't set up as a show rig, if it was I think I would trade noise for looks.

I just cannot get my head around the color being crucial to performance but I do think that they know that their heatsinks are distinguished by those one-of-a-kind colored fans.

Back to the H100, looks like this is going to be a very popular cooler upgrade and with Corsair working with CoolIt you have two great companies so things will only get better and bigger I think.

How about an H200 with a 320 Rad with 4 matched fans and a fan controller all wrapped up in a package.

Just looked at the link options, that could be a nice feature. Hopefully when they come available somebody with the H80 or H100 will give a short review with some images.

Nice link to Link ;)

I've been looking at the Corsair H coolers for a while now, this added feature will be a nice addition.

Looking at my case, don't think I'll be able to squeeze in the H-100, Corsair says it will give you 2°C lower than the H-80, thinking I might go for the H-80.
Will be much easier for me to install.

Some software and hardware images here.
Ten Questions About Corsair Link

When can I get Corsair Link, and how much will it cost?

There are two kits, the Corsair Link Cooling Kit and the Corsair Link Cooling and Lighting Kit. The Cooling Kit comes with the Commander and the Cooling Node, and will be available this summer for $99. The Cooling and Lighting Kit includes the Commander, the Cooling Node, the Lighting Node, and three RGB LED strips, and will be available this summer as well, for $139. We’ll also have an assortment of accessories up on our website for launch, so for those of you who want to control more than five fans or buy extra lighting, we’ve got you covered.

Excellent. That Antec is not so good for me. If I'm buying configuration, power like that one,I'll buy HAF 912 or the massive one HAF 932. :)
Anyway,good configuration. ;)
