Lots of discussion about the 560TI and the 570. Both should handle things fine. I went with the 570 for a couple of other reasons, which you can see in the thread. My new card should arrive on Thursday of this week according to UPS.

Gaming performance won't increase from 4GB to 8GB of RAM. So, unless you have a specific need for more RAM, money is probably spent better elsewhere.

An SSD is a significant upgrade. No doubt about it. 120GB is a good size. Plenty of room for the OS and a few games.

I'm not trying to spend a large amount on the video card since the only game currently I play is BC2 (not as much since I've been busy) and attempting to play the BF3 Beta (having some issues with it tho) but other than that I'm doing basic internet usage/music.

I don't really need more RAM so I guess I could save the $65 there...

Damn decisions/choices!! argh

2 questions:

1) Where is the backlighting mounted?

2) Are you really able to keep that desk that clean? Really?

@Muad Dib: The backlighting is Cold Cathodes connected into the computer PSU. They are mounted on the back of the monitors with double sided tape.To get the power from the PSU to the cathodes, I created a molex extension cord from an old broken power supply.

The desk does always stay this clean!! The only problem is finger prints on the glass, but there is never any clutter on it. I am an extreme neat freak. My whole room, bathroom, and car is spotless!

Here is a picture of the Cathodes mounted onto the monitors from a couple of months ago. The only difference should be the webcam and my new Touch Mouse.

I absolutely love the clean wiring. And you can clearly see from the pictures of your monitor stand that you spent some time getting everything all laid out as nice as what you have. I try to keep my layout as clean as possible, but I'm not a fan of wireless keyboards and mice...so I always have visible cords from them. The backlighting seems nice too if that is your thing.

Allso,today my second set of ram arrived,i went with the black one,cause my motherboard has black and red slots,so i figured it would look better to keep the ram the same way,red heat sinks in red slots,and black in black slots. Her are a few pics to demonstrate.

@Alsisgevat: That looks fantastic!! You have some serious power there too. And the keyboard does not scratch the surface, the desk is quite good condition for how much abuse that i have put on it!

@Muad Dib: The LCD mount isn't anything fancy. I bought it off of amazon. It was 40$ at the time that i bought it. Currently it is 55$ though. Here is the link

I am still amazed that i only payed 40$ for it. It is AMAZING quality and I haven't had a single problem with it for the 5 months that I have had it.

Paul- Thanx,appreciate it,managing wires is allot of work,but it pays off.

JaidynM -Thanx, and It's the first mobo that's larger than my gfx, but there is still more than enough space in the case to go even bigger, but the 7 expansion slots in my case will be a problem later on i think, but for now everything fits nicely and i don't compromise airflow.

Maxwell- Thanx, thats amazing how little that costed you for that nice look!

Only you would know for sure....but I'm not a fan of huge cases for the sake of having a huge case. My current case, an Antec P182 is the largest case I have had in a long time and while I did like putting it together and it's ease of wiring, at the end of the day i really wish that my case was A LOT smaller than it is. It takes up so much room and I simply don't need all of that extra space.

But it all depends upon what type of user you are. I'm the type that only runs a single video card, I usually only have 1 or 2 hard drives installed in a box, I don't usually run elaborate CPU coolers, I don't add extra case fans unless I have a demonstrated heat problem. So for me, space is not really of the essence.
