I just recently ended up spending nearly R700 in postage and customs fees for a set of Magic the Gathering cards that only cost R400 to start with. I've had the same experience with 6 items bought online for my PC in the last year, that being out of a total of 10 items... :(

Well it is for the motherboard bundle i got a AMD dual core motherboard bundle with an ultra silent cooler with it in the bundle but its not an actually factory fit AMD cooler i think :D

just finished upgrading my rig today!

i kept the case, the dusty cards and drive and ripped out the old dual-core mobo/cpu/ram/fan and replaced with new Sandy Bridge i5 2500K and 8 gigs of ram goodness. :) maybe i'll stick an i7 in there one day...

i think i may have put the heatsink/fan the wrong way round, but hey-ho, it still keeps it cool. :p

i used a mobo auto-overclocking feature to crank the cpu from 3.3 to 4.2 GHz - I'm sure it'll go higher if i spend some time mucking around with voltages, not sure if i'll need to yet...maybe on a rainy day.

couldn't be bothered to do any benchmarking, but this new rig sure seems a lot swifter than it used to be. :cool:
