i can be a bit of a perfectionist too lol but with the side panel off u only see the bottom fan which isnt that noticable really. they are very quiet though. the only noise i hear is my gpu fans. @ idle they spin @ 1900ish rpm(45% which is pretty quiet. ingame is a different story though lol. once they hit 50% and above they get pretty loud but i dont hear em with my kaves on
since adding the bottom fan and changing my h50 to intake its made quiet a difference to overall temps. mb and hdd stay between 27 and 29c which is about the same as b4. my gpu idle temp has dropped from 48c to 44c and ingame (bf3) my cpu temp maxes out at 44c.50c in intel burn test. plus all fans are running about 100rpm slower now. so im happy. for now

Nice, it helps when your fans do what you payed for. And when my pump arrives I will be removing my 2 180fans,and swapping the cpu's out take into intakes, So basically they will be the only intakes into the main part of the chassis.

Thats the plan, Th MB and ram wont receive much air, but I doubt it would be a problem.

the house i live in is s***e and gets loads of the stuff no matter what. now ive got the filters in it should'nt be a problem, hopefully

Well, I know what helped me allot in my old chassis was lifting it way off the ground, after I placed it on a separate high desk it was allot less dusty. Maybe you can try something like that? But having positive airflow and filters will stop allot of dust already.

im gonna make a higher stand for it at some point. ive gotta keep it fairly low as my dog is a loon lol. so for now ive just got it raised about 4 inches from the floor. i have a filter in the bottom too. ive deffo got a positive airflow lol, 2x120 front intake. 1x120 bottom intake, 1x200 side intake, H50 2x120 intake, 2x120 top exaust so far seem to be the best config ive had cooling wise

Yup, unless you want it to blow up like a balloon or something, but the chassis being so low to the ground will defiantly still pick up some major dust, but that just means cleaning your filters more often.

Small update, I couldnt wait till the pump arived, so I decided on removing the dual 180mm fans and their bracket so long. The temps on the gfx cards rose by at least 10 degrees, but that was expected since there are no air blowing into the chassis at all. But when the pump comes,there wont be any need for air. So hopefully that will arrive this week, and I can cool things down. The space I got extra makes a HUGE difference, and I rearranged the led light strip, and would like to revoke a previous comment I made on the white lights not being bright,they do the job well.

Haha, thats one of the reasons I went with plain white, my old chassis had blue lights in, and someday's I hated staring at that blue lights! other days it rocked!

lols lucky they have an on/off switch. the lights behind my monitors and under my desk are powered by a seperate psu under my desk so i can switch em on/off as i please i only really use em when gaming at night. it reduces eye strain

So my Antec 1100 and new 27" Led turned up today

Got it all together now, real joy of a case to work with, cable management is fantastic.

I am happy.

Thankyou, the jump from 23" to 27" is pretty great. Battlefield 3 looks real nice on it.
