I've seen many pictures of upside down pumps so, apparently, it doesn't matter.

I don't know if any of you remember but i did turn my pump uside down to see if it made a difference NONE !

As long as it is secure and over the chip and the lines aren't being constricted then it shouldn't matter

Don't do that, I suspect it would make funny noises in any position.

Corsair 430 CMX
250GB Samsung 840 SSD
8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X

It's fast thanks to the Samsung. I had to put a SSD in it didn't I!!

Thanks Solar, he is very happy with it.

I put my old 2133mhz ram in his (I say old, it was only used for a few months lol) and I ordered another 8GB of Trident X for myself. Here's a new pic with 16GB installed.

Your Dad's PC looks great. You did a great job. I am happy he likes it. Of course you had to put an SSD in it. It's the only way to go now days. Great job, and well done on getting your Dad to buy you some new ram.

Thanks Ryan, yeah it's a nice psu was the same price as the non modular too at £36 on Ebuyer.

Yes, well spotted Gary, it has space on that vertical bar to screw in 3x 2.5" Drives.
