Yes there's a neat place to fill for a crossfireX....but not now, i've got to work somehow before thinking about it and it will need a second screen monitor aswell!!!

The CPU cooler looks huge because there's two 120mm fans PWM. It is only 158mm high!

But, while curing myself from a bad cold...i went onto a paint job. I'd made a stencil for some "Hot Rod Flames" on my case, both side left & right (same pattern).

And it turned out really nicely... Black flames on a black case, never thought it could look so damn sexy.

Anyway, my little baby is still way behind everyone else here, but she does what I need pretty damn well (and runs Borderlands 2 like an absolute dream). I got a new CPU and RAM a little while back, and today my new Logitech G700 arrived. Now all I want to do is go home and play. Suppose I should drop some pics, hmmm?

Cool, sounds good to me. I feel like I'm about to throw my nice new G700 against the wall. Really hard. It does not like any Unreal engine game at all.... So, there goes Borderlands 1, Borderlands 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Postal, Dishonored, Rage, Bulletstorm, Section 8, Singularity, Tribes Ascend, and even XIII. And those are just the Unreal engine games I have.

Anyway, my lamp is actually all the way over on the right side of my desk, while my PC is on the left. I just needed some better light shining in my case to get the RAM to even show up in a photo.

Low Lights at night

Sailing at lowlights...

Received today a Halo 6 leds ultra-bright white lightning kit for screen monitors & are kind of very bright reflecting on the white wall behind, so I putted tiny squares on each Led of Deep dyed polyester color filters "electric blue" at 40% transmission.

Result is softer but stays bright as for what is it first made.

ZaLith- thats cool, the memory looks sweet. As for the mouse problems I had to search a while before I found the right one. Went with logitecs "gaming" series then Intried the rat series, they were nice and looked awesome but needed constant cleening and stuff then Inwent over to razer and finnally ended up with the new mamba. And sofar I am happy with it. So goodluck in finding that perfect one haha. As for the light I would suggest getting those wired led light strips, they give allot of light and seeing as your in S.A u can get them quick and cheap. And they come in green too lol

Sounds like you had great fun on that mission.. Lol. Unfortunately thanks to my left arm being the useless ornament it is, the range of mice that do what I need is quite heavily restricted. I use the tilting scroll wheel to strafe in FPS games, and big mice make it easier to 'palm' it around the pad, leaving my fingers open for pushing all the wonderful buttons they give me..

As for the light I would suggest getting those wired led light strips, they give allot of light and seeing as your in S.A u can get them quick and cheap. And they come in green too lol

I do want to, have for a while now.. But I want to get a better case before I start doing stuff like that. My current case was supposed to be a temporary case to hold my hardware while I get a better one to mod. Yeah... I got it 2 or 3 years ago I think.

yup mice can be a pain in the arse to find the right one, i was lucky as it only took me a couple to find the best for me.
first went for the logitech g500 but that was too high n hurt my wrist, then the rat which was near enough perfect but not quite high enough lol. now i have an mmo7 and that is the mutz nutz
keyboards though is a whole different story, ive had 6 different gaming keyboards in the last 2 years.
logitech g110 nice but not quite there,
g19 very nice but didnt use the screen
roccat isku keys stopped working after 3 wks
razor lycosa keys sticking constantly
cyborg v7 ugly as hell but nice to use
then a quickfire pro which i love

Ganjiry, Mate that is true about the razer lycosa, I had it and the biggest problem I had with it was that you needed to have the backlight on at all times just to see the keys, I now have the razer blackwidow ultimate, and in all honesty its not the best keyboard but the mecanical keys are awesome. As for the mouse, I just like the mamba beacuse of the wireless function and the cool light that can be any colour you want haha.

ZaLith- Yeah I rember you asked a long time back for a spesific case in S.A and I found a store that had it, but you never bought it haha. But there are so many new cases out there that are great. I almost bought another case the other day, not to replace the one I have (wich I love by the way) but as a spare rig that I can move around and lan with. But little tight on time now haha.

yup everyone needs different things to siute them enit. the lycosa was a right pain as from day one if u did'nt hit certain keys dead center they just would not go down. this was supposed to be a problem with the early models but mine was a newer one.
im very happy with the cm quickfire pro tho except it could have done with full backlighting instead of partial. for some reason its also picky with the 990fx chipset and i have to switch keyboards if i want to enter the bios plus it downright refuse's to work with a usb extension cable or a ps2 type adapter.
apart from that though its a excellent board and totally shocked me how much more responsive mechanical keys are.
i had to have a mechanical board with number pad and backlighting but i didnt want to spend more than £100 but found this for about £70 so had to try it

Hehe.. My keyboards? Got two connected, a R40 A4Tech board on my desk, and an older-than-**** no name brand one on the floor. When I game, I only use the one on the floor and my mouse anyway, the one on the desk just sits there staring at me longingly, begging for someone to give it some love... Lol.

Ah yes, I vaguely remember that.. Money was a bit of an issue back then, but I moved house recently and my rent has dropped drastically. Hence the recent CPU, RAM and mouse upgrades.

I saw recently that Senshi over at Carbonite.co.za is going to be stocking BitFenix cases here in SA sometime shortly. So depending on availability and price, I may get myself the Raider in a month or two..

lol at having a board on your desk cos it looks good and then use a different one. hehe id probably do the same
