Ravir open GPUz and click the "?" beside bus interface and run the little video test and see it it changes to x16.

It will show that until it's under load. Thats the gpu boost working. Try loading a game and view it.

After the render and running Gears Of War it still shows x8. Should i just open a new thread for some help?

Yes, I goofed on that and apologize I was thinking clock speed not the lane. Check your Bios settings. You might have to use the top slot to get x16

check ASUS support to see if there is a newer BIOS/UEFI than you have.

Well I have picked some out for you Gary and mate these can be customised however you like the slightly larger set does fit together like Russian dolls but handy for down sizing.

The optional inbuilt you can use while the boss is beating you about the ears while washing up

So i finally got around to getting a graphics card. Settled on this from BestBuy. So voila! The only problem which i haven't got time to address as yet is that the card only works in the slot that it is currently in and doesn't when placed in the slot above. Not sure if that's a problem with the card itself or just a setting i have to change or if it will affect performance

Anywho thanks again guys that helped out in me putting this together. Much love!

Thanks Juan.. It is coming along quite nicely hey? I heard today that my 600T should be arriving mid-next week sometime, so depending on when I get to move everything across, I should have some new pics to share by next weekend.

Right now I'm all

to get it though.... I'll probably move everything across after work on the day I get the case, and then stay up until who-knows-what-time fiddling with it. Lol.

If you don't mind me asking Billy where did you get your gear from mate. I costed that case at PCCG in Melbourne (my regular supplier) and wow it doubled my HAF XM out even with shipping.
