Thanks Ryan, it was almost like doing a build, I took a lot of it apart, installed a different GPU and did some cable clean up.

Yeah you gotta do a proper job enit chap. Cleaning my rig is the thing i hate most about it lol So i strip mine down every month or 2 or 3 and give it a good clean.

There's an idea Bill, LOL! I have plunked 2 PC cases in the bathtub and washed 'em down.

It's very dusty where I live. Even with filters on my case (which I vacuum from the outside a couple times a week), I still open the machine up and blow it out no less than once a month. The longer the dust stays in a machine, the harder it is to get out.

Dust just happens and this is why I've moved away from fine air intake filtration as it impedes air flow. I'd rather just blow out the case and clean the fans every 2-3 months but you have to know your environment, if heavier dust, pets or other then cleaning sooner is always good. It amazes me how many issues are caused and solved (laptops) by someone learning that computers are just little room air cleaners with a heater!

I wonder if a pressure washer aka "Karcher's" would work better than just a standard hose pressure?

Now for a little, little, contrast to Bungee's fine work. I decided to swap the GPU in wifey's machine to my old one. Here's what I found on the CPU cooler.

I don't often turn a machine on its side. This one I did and found a World Record class dust monster (too big to be a bunny) on the PSU intake, it's bottom mounted. That thing was huge, wish I'd snapped it too. If you have a bottom mounted PSU, check its intake grille of filter if you have one.

My giddy aunt Gary that is some load as you know I am a filter freak and all my bottom mounted ones are dust filtered - you know our method of any filtering anyway

Hahhahaha! No need to be jealous, I'm the one who's always been jealous about the magic you work with cables!

BTW, do you think our cable management is up to par? Any advice would be more than welcome.

And any ideas and advice you guys can contribute regarding the design of the water loops would be great.
We are starting to get access to a larger selection of parts, so just chip in and we'll see if we can make it happen.

Juan has to, it's part of his income. I'm jealous too though getting paid for doing something you love to do.
