I cannot stand the stupid fan mountings on the side window and this picture shows why! (You might get to see my GPU one day lol)

Why not just replace the window?

I want a new case Lady F, I already have my heart set on one. I will be changing a lot of stuff fairly soon and I do not like my current case at all. You can't even fit a dual rad in it which I really want to. And I want a white case.

Paul.

Shaking my head reading that.............I can sympathize buddy. I like the case more than you seem to because of it's excellent airflow the fact that it has a ton of room, but that side panel is ugly as a mud fence. I don't need a dual rad so that's not an issue for me, but they could have used the design from the P280(which is built off the exact same chassis) and that would have allowed for at least a dual 120 rad up top.

The side panel, the stupid fan controller in the back(which you can only remove with a dremel or similar tool) and the multicolored front panel cables are what bug me the most....other than that, it's perfect for me. Also, I got it for $60 after a mail in rebate and promo code off Newegg, so I can live with it's shortcomings.

It has served me well Kelly, it was an awesome case compared to what I upgraded from, it does have a good bit of space, but it's time for me to move on. You did bloody well to get it for $60! I paid £85 ($131) for mine when I got it!
I don't hate it, but I want a dual rad soon, who knows I might get into custom water at some point and the 1100 is not for that. Also I fancy a white case next, I think it will look clean and fresh, I keep seeing these rigs Juan builds and it makes me want one even more.

Paul.

It looks ok, but less flexible inside, looks like the HDD bays are fixed in the Shinobi, I think you can remove pretty much everything in the Switch.

I don't like the rivets on the window, makes it look a bit tacky in my humble opinion.

Yeah, the Switch is very popular with people that are doing what you are thinking of doing for that reason.

At least it can be recovered by glossy white paint...i think clear side panel is screw mounted.

Yes a little more less flexible Inside, but still a lot of space!

You make your mind up on something and that's it really, I watched a few video reviews on the Switch, I have seen many builds using it and I really liked it, so I figured I need to get me one of them lol.

I am forward thinking to my next build really, and I keep thinking about a custom water loop, not yet but in the future, I think I will go closed loop dual rad first and then maybe in the next year when I get bored start researching a custom loop.
With this case it will do the job very well whatever I decide to do.

I prefer the cleaner look too with no mounting hardware visible, but it's not a dealbreaker for me if I were in the market for one. I don't know that I'm sold on a white case though...

I know what you mean about making up your mind and sticking to it....it's an awesome case and will do everything you need and leave you room to upgrade the guts of it to a new platform.
