Lava King, Great deal, you really made out on that one. Congratulations. Could I get you to possibly put the same picture on both monitors so we could get an idea of the difference? I'm only curious and if you can't, it's OK. But great deal anyway.

The pictures don't really do justice to what I'm seeing, and I may have the Asus a bit over bright. The HP has an overall warmer picture and the reds a somewhat muted compared to the Asus. But then again, the reds on any other monitor seemed muted compared to the Asus.

Yep, upon previewing the pics, the far left triangle on the "dimension 68000" picture should be a vibrant red. It just doesn't come through in the picture.

Even on my low quality monitor, I can see a difference. There's little doubt you will enjoy that. What a heck of a deal and a fantastic price for what you have now. Congratulations, very well done.

What is the advantage of IPS panels? I read the Wiki on them and after 17 paragraphs I got that they look better basically, unless I missed something?

The Hue finally arrived, very easy to install, and the choice of colors is fantastic. I can also change the color of the Antec light on my cooler to match but in my haste of taking the pictures earlier I forgot.

I've been wondering where you've been hiding, Juan. I had just assumed you've been happily busy cranking out your wonderful builds, such as this awesome one. Is that mural a decal or has it been airbrushed?

Also, I'm surprised your ran only one WC loop with two radiators. I would have thought using one loop for the CPU and another for the GPU cards would have been better (granted, your way is simpler and requires one less pump and reservoir).

Great new build ! Love the dual rad's and rigid tubed SLi cards. I'll bet this just smokes the benchmarks and man it's running nice and cool. One temp is water the other is case air temp's? The look of this rig is just in time as we're celebrating Veterans day here in the States!

It's been proven that one loop is much better as two loops doesn't net any advantage other than more complexity from what I've read but maybe Juan can tell us if he's seen any advantage in temps with two loops?

I wish we lived any closer to each other so you could drop by the shop and spend some time building this toys together, or maybe just shooting the wind.

We just moved to a new place. It is kind of a loft space in a semi-industrial building. You'd get a kick out of the place!

The case graphics are just ploted decals.
I wish we knew someone who could airbrush something like that!
Anyhow, we wouldn't be able to afford something like that for the time being...
Maybe, if things keep growing and we become a LOT better at this, we will become something like the Orange County Choppers of gaming PCs and start doing some real paint jobs on our cases.
For now we only do rads, and some minor details.

As Alan said, we haven't seen any real advantages in running two parallel loops, one for the CPU and one for the GPUs. Actually, we haven't done many of them (only 3 of them) and in one of them performance was worse than with the same components arranged in line. On the other two, performance was comparable, a bit worse, but could be instrument calibration.

The rig is a beast. 2800 pts on Unigine Heaven 4.0, no OC whatsoever, and the cards never go above 41 C with ambient temps at 24-26!

The temp displays read: The one to the left is the coolant temperature after exiting both 780s (which at full load is about 7-8 degrees lower than the GPU temps) and the other one reads the coolant temperature just before entering the reservoir, which should be one of the coolest spots in the loop. After running unigine heaven for 2 hours, the temp difference between the two is about 2.5-4 degrees, which confirms what I've read in several places: once the system reaches its maximum temp, it just stabilizes, so loop order dosen't make any kind of difference. Just keep your tubing as simple and as short as possible, and that's it.

I didn't realize it was Veteran's Day today. It is a very fortunate coincidence.

I remember the first time I went to visit Veteran's Memorial in DC. I was 17, and a friend of my father's, who had fought both in Korea and Vietnam, took me there. I was kindda speechless for the rest of the day. The vastness of those black marble walls, and the sculpture of the three soldiers dragging their feet in the mud...

That day, at the gift shop there, I bought "Fire in the Lake" by Frances FitzGerald, which I have re-read many times since then. It always helps me remember that although we are all human, we are all so very different...
