Doug, get the NZXT cable extension pack they sell.......I have it and it is awesome! Very high quality, and not too stiff so you can manipulate them.

Are the ones you're talking about the same as the ones I linked to? If so, I've bought about 4 or 5 sets of them and they work great. I have a set now and have no idea why I didn't use them on my last build. I guess I was saving them for the next build. :(

Yep, they sell an entire kit, with a 24 pin, 8 pin, front panel, and PCI-Express extensions.....and it is as high quality as any others out there.

I've used MSI mobo's for all 9 of my builds except for a smoke'n deal on a ASRock. Not saying MSI is the best but it's been a reliable, performance to value mobo for me.

Then order them for store pickup if they do have them. Available means they have at least one. You don't want to risk them running out before you get there. If they don't have them available elsewhere, shop around online; Fry's is usually overpriced.

ok so I finally got to replace the thermal paste on my R9 280x and the temps dropped drastically on idle. I was idling at 30-34C and now im idling at 23C lolz. I wonder what the load temps will be? before it was hitting 75C at times.

Thanks Bill,
I'm amazed by my fortune with the little cheap HP camera I bought when my beloved G series Canon kicked. Small but it does a fairly decent job when I don't want to haul out the Canon or Nikon intermediates.

Good job, I think it will be less under load too

its at 25C now browsing interwebs. it better be. Asus just clumped a crap load of thermal paste on and it was all over the GPU and around it. what I really HATE about it is that the copper contacts are grooved very deeply across all the heat pipes. its not perfectly flat at all.

I also just ordered 3 of these fans to replace my front intake, and top 2 exhaust. so my temps should drop a bit now. my rig will also be a lot quieter.

Thanks Bill,
I'm amazed by my fortune with the little cheap HP camera I bought when my beloved G series Canon kicked. Small but it does a fairly decent job when I don't want to haul out the Canon or Nikon intermediates.

That's like the little Canon SX130 IS I keep in my purse (it will also fit in a pocket if my jeans aren't too tight). It takes pictures as good as my bigger Canon SX10 IS as long as the light is good and I don't need too much zoom and it's a whole sight easier to dig out than the bigger camera and external flash. Most of the pictures I've posted here are taken with the little camera since the built in flash is closer to the lens.

ok so I finally got to replace the thermal paste on my R9 280x and the temps dropped drastically on idle. I was idling at 30-34C and now im idling at 23C lolz. I wonder what the load temps will be? before it was hitting 75C at times.

You have to wonder why manufacturers go to all the effort to make great designs then skimp on thermal paste?

Yup out of the 2 GPUs I've bought both had such crappy thermal paste. EVGA and Asus.
