Jerry, This is what one would expect from an M4. You are within the norm.

Check your boot time in the Event Viewer (Event 100). Mine is 17sec - also with an M4.

In mine Event 100 is windows backup. Which one is it?

Jerry you might get better performance with the iastor.sys SATA driver over the msahci one, I sure did. It should be listed with your board chhipset driver list.

Thanks Wolfgang, that was a lot of digging in unfamiliar territory for me.

It shows as warnings for all event 100s and ranges from 29-33 seconds, but I overwrite the page file.

When I open Gary's .zip file, I get my own event 100 from my computer. Either that, or Gary named his computer after me, which I doubt.

Steve, I have to correct myself. I played around with it some more and I can indeed get into the log of my system. I did not fathom that at first. Maybe Gary should post a snip of the log next time.

Gary, In the Event Viewer you can go to the Action tab > Copy > Copy details as text. Then you can paste it here or into any Word or Wordpad doc. That's for next time, LOL.

Here's the next time. Where are you guys looking to get the boot times of 17 seconds? Here's my latest Event 100 log with Page file overwrite disabled.

Mine is the same way, Gary. It is listed in ms. I guess just divide by 1000.
