Here's the rig. Bottom fan by PS is hooked in, however for some reason it actually increases my mobo temp a few degrees when it runs, which is why it's turned off in software. And yes, my side fan does have some duck tape on edges. For some reason the screw patterns don't match, even though it's a 200mm fan and the side window is supposed to use a 200mm fan, go figure. Tape just makes sure it stays flush, so it pulls max air through the filter(supposedly 160cfm). It's wired via a splitter into the fan control switch built into the case, Thermaltake Chaser MK-1. Oh and I almost forgot, I am now the proud owner of an Asus 144hz monitor. What's the point of really high framerates if you can't truly enjoy them? :D

*edit*
Thanks to this pic, I just noticed a molex with a fan adapter plugged in, that has no fan attached, which is now unplugged. I must've been really sleepy at the end of the case transfer, which was only a few days ago since I had to order a full tower in order to fit the 3rd card.

Nice. I bet you could probably get another 300 or more points with a proper OC. What sucks about SLI and Crossfire is it's a crapshoot as far as getting 2 or more cards that all OC good. Me for instance, when I had 2 cards I could OC to 1166, now i'm stuck at 1105 because my new card doesn't like anything higher and it's the one with the dual-x cooler and not the shroudless reference you see in the pic above.

Cheers :D

Yeah there should be plenty of room to increase it but there's no point clocking the cards until I've got the cpu core and uncore stable.

What temps are you seeing with those cards? It looks pretty cramped in there..

Yeah, I overheard a guy at my college talking about selling his for $150 buyout on ebay and I talked him down to $120 so he wouldn't have to deal with the hassle of ebay and having to ship it out. So here I am.

And about the picture, my cards are mismatched as far as maker/style. My main one is the sapphire Vapor-x, my 2nd is a sapphire Dual-x and my 3rd is a MSI reference with the plastic taken off so the vrm's could get better air(the cooler on it is tiny, but with some pk-1, I got a 8c drop in temps). It's all in a Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 case. So if you really wanna see that mess, I got np posting it. All that really matters are the numbers you get from them anyways, right?

Funny i am thinking of going with another Gigabyte TI in SLI instead of getting another card and having to sell this one off only a year old if i add another TI i am sure i am not missing much my card now still hangs with a 980 so i mean really i think i am still pretty good but going Sli might give some of you hell ;)

The gigabyte cards are having a lot of issues recently. Just bad batch.

Mine is stable haha so i'm not sure about that they are already maxed out and people try to tax them more that is the issue not the card

I even upclocked mine a moment ago no artifacts at all and scored pretty well :geek:

Nice score Steve.

What do you mean solar? Mixing card models? I am pretty sure you won't be able to do that in sli. It will need to be 2x TI's for that.

Nice scores Steve and Tommy

@Tommy unless you're after the power saving of the Maxwell cards which I doubt you are or just something new to play with I'd just get another ti. As Paul already said Sli is unlike Xfire as the gpu and Vram must be the same so any 780ti. There are no problems with Sli either compared to the bugs and whatnot with Xfire. Any Nvidia driver after 340.52 has had issues for me though, Direct X errors in games.

Temps are actually pretty good. Most games I see around 65c. On the most demanding, I'll only see low 70's on the core before the fans increase speed and maybe a low 80 for the vrms(which is rare). Having good air circulation makes the difference. These 200mm fans put out some insane airflow and are whisper quiet.
