Just thought I would post my WEI before upgrade and overhaul.

Motherboard: ASRock A770E+(AMD 770 + SB710 Chipsets) AM2/AM2+/AM3 Socket (2600MHz FSB)
CPU: AMD 64 X2 6400+ Black Edition @ 3215MHz -*(AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 Six-Core CPU - HDT90ZFBGRBOX)

If you got a better CPU and a SSD ,along with a HD5770 you would see all tour scores in the mid 7s. View attachment 112534 Did Know you where talking about a laptop , there are laptops out there with high end graphics if you got $4000.00??

Saw this, not $4000.00 but still a sturdy piece of kit, Has a 5870 1GB DDR5 in it.

It looks good to me.

You only get a 5.9 because of the HD, and WEi is based on the lowest score.
If its a spinning HD, 5.9 is as high as they can get, so this is completely normal.

Nothing to worry about.

If I can get my score near that I would be very happy indeed. SSD for you and it would be quite respectable among the 7+ scorers.

CPU overclocked to 4.0ghz with Hyper threading (the WEI likes cores)

RAM, nothing special really, just some 1600mhz tweaked a little.

Higher end GPU / overclocked

And a SSD

OK, Can anyone post a WEI with a GTX580

I would love to see what either a GTX 580, or two GTX 580's in sli will do. Any one with these cards, ran a WEI ? Considering replacing Quad SLI 295's , Have heard they compair about the same, (1 GPU to Two) with the 580 using slightley more power, but running quiter, having less stutter, and giveing DX11.

By teh way, a I-7 920 with a 4.3 OC Mushkin redline memory at 1648 7,8,7, and 2 X25M-G Intel SSd's In raid 0. and 2(295's ) Is :

A 980 with a single 295 and Raid 0 Is :

Depending on the response I get here regarding above question, I may be able to post 580 information in a week or two.
