If it's connected to your PC surely it counts. My 42" is the living room TV but I can still use it for gaming. XBOX 360 controllers are pretty long so instead of 2 crowding around 1 monitor 2 screens is really handy.

Thanks, was planning to wait and see what the G3's were going to be like. With the new 25nm issues, the initial price inflation and new hardware teething issues, should have got this 6 months ago.

Just got at new 120GB SSD, the old 40GB SSD got a 7.6.

You'll need a SSD to get above 5.9, even the small 40-60GB boot drives will get mid 7's.
The performance increase is very noticeable.

Feels great. I know it's one of the old i7s, but I got it for a nice price off a mate, so thought I'd save myself a bit of money. The SSD makes the world of difference, which I'm sure you've seen with your SSD. Just a shame I can't put everything on it

SSDs are great, will be nice when they're cheaper than HDDs
