Only a SSD can help you to get above 7.0

I must be the closest you can get without having an SSD then (check the Disk Data Transfer Rate)

but I still get 4.0 because of my integrated graphics :( gotta update that and my mem before too long...'specially my mem since my computer slows to a crawl during installations :(

and I don't know why it states I have dx 10 when dxdiag says I have 11 *shrugs*

Welcome to Seven Forums.

Nice scores :D

That system is begging for a SSD.
A good but small boot drive will cost around $100, and the performance increase is truly amazing ;)

My WEI plus HWMonitor values

Welcome to Seven Forums.

Your is pleading as well, see above :p

Small SSD boot drive, big HDD for storage, and your off to speed and performance that you will wonder why you waited so long to install, and never look back ;)

What HDD configuration are you running to get those scores?
Raid, SCSI, or?
What are your Disk Data Transfer Rates?
A lot of people would like to know.

A lot of people would like to know.

I don't know how to answer that one to be honest. I just plugged my hdd into my mobo and installed Win 7 on it.

As far as I know, it's only a normal setup with SATA

is there a tool I can use to diagnose it? I'll run any program needed and post the screen shots if it will help other people :)

Edit
and all I meant by "Check the disk data transfer rate" is that Win 7 called that section (primary hard drive) by "Disk Data Transfer Rate" but I'll run any test

Great numbers

Guess the disks are the bottleneck

Also great numbers. Not neccessarily a bottleneck, but the weakest score. You could do better, but your performance can still be very good, even the best spinner HDD gets a 5.9

You could benefit from a better GPU, but if performance is serving your needs, no worries. Showing DX10 is normal.

Very nice numbers

Wow, wonder why you get such high numbers for a 80GB 7200.9 spinner?? You might have an incorrect assessment, if not WEI is weirder than I thought. Your transfer rates don't deserve that high a score :)

Your HDD is a Seagate model ST380811AS, SATA2, 8 MB cache, 80GB.
With a 75 MB/s transfer rate, that might get a 5.9 WEI score, maybe a little lower.
Using the computer while benchmarking might affect the score, but only very little.

I have to agree with A Guy on this.

Nice scores :D

Good setup, bet it runs great.

Don't worry, just a glitch in the Windows System Assessment Tool (WinSAT) that runs the tests to give the WEI score.

An extreme RAID can get a bit above 5.9, other than that it takes a SSD to get between 5.9 and 7.9.
