Okay, so when 4GB more ram comes in the mail, my score will be the same because it is 1333MHz, right?

It may be. WEI is odd in how it scores. I have changes my RAM from 1600>1866 and had no change. :huh:

More than likely. Your WEI score would go up if you upgraded the ram to 1600MHz or 1866, but you would not notice any difference in performance. Only your benchmark scores would go up. I've run 1333, 1600, 1866 and 2133 and notice no difference in actual operation of the system, only when I run benchmarks can I notice the difference, because of the scores.

I don't believe that WEI measures the amount of ram as much as it measures the efficiency of the ram that is used. I don't know whether WII test all my 12 gigs or just test enough to post a score. If you watch Real Temp while running WEI you will notice that the temps and loads aren't as much as other program such as Prime 95.

I believe That is correct. The only time I have noticed the amount of ram make a difference was when I had an AMD system with on board graphics. A portion of the ram was dedicated to the graphics and not available for system use, and WEI penalized the score for that. I disabled the portion of dedicated ram for graphics and the ram score went up. But, that is the only time I know of that WEI takes into account the amount, only the frequency.

TO have base score higher I think it has to do with how quick yr HDD reads & writes, I could be wrong, correct me if I am....

For a regular spinner drive (not a high speed or hybrid drive) 5.9 is the max. You need a hybrid drive, a 10,000 RPM drive, or a SSD to score higher. A Guy
