Update:

Installed latest intel HD 3000 drivers - both graphics WEI scores improved into the 6+ range, but OpenGL-based games are problematic; fuzzy, blurred texturing, so I reverted to the original driver.

Up to now it works OK. But inside it is typical cheap Dell. Only two Sata2 ports plus two Sata3 ports. An available disk bay which you cannot get to without taking the whole thing apart. Had to install the M4 with Velcro.

I should have known. In Germany I have an Inspiron and that was the same mess. The HP boxes are a lot neater and better to work with. But I guess you cannot have everything. At least it was a good price.

You could always upgrade the case later if you wanted.
Just swap the internals over.

Real nice scores, Wolfgang. That is quite good for a Dell. I know what you mean about the way they are built. My Inspiron did not even have 1 4 pin connector in it. I had to do some "creative Wiring" to do any additions and everything is proprietary, it's quite difficult to do anything to it. But, those ar great scores, and the M4 firmware is easy.
