Be very careful, it's an addiction. Sometimes you just have to build another, even though you don't need it. It gets to where 'need' has nothing to do with it. Trust me, I'm experienced.

Yeah, I'm looking past the X79 and SB-e. They don't seem to do anything for me. Certainly not worth an upgrade to the high end. Must be the new GPUs that have me hungry. :)
I might have to let go of my "Intel Only" view of boards too. :sick:

I was hoping Ivy Bridge would be an improvement, but early reviews seem to indicate not so.

i5 2500K clocked at 4.2. It is not the system in my profile, I still consider the AMD machine my main editor.

SATA 3GB probably holding my M4 back a notch and ram is in dual channel due to faulty board :confused: but she still gets the job done :D.

Yeah, that's the boat I found myself in two weeks ago. MicroCenter had the 2600K for $279 and were offering another $50 off if you bought it with a motherboard. My "old" Core i7 920 rig is now my backup computer.
