That's probably a $7,000 - $8000 computer isn't it? I mean my computer can plow through anything that gets thrown at it, but yours, a monster. Mind me asking what tasks are needed for so much power? I know it cannot be gaming because my computer runs Battlefield 3 on Ultra settings at 1440 x 900 with approximately 40fps.

For playing BFS maxxed at higher resolutions with higher frames ;)

Realistically - a lot of us just enjoying playing with/building PC's. And it'ws not always 'just for games'. Encoding, VM's, PS etc are just a few things are into. And it doesn't cost 7-8K thankfully :)

I only seem to be having hardrive issues. Everything in my computer is 2011, except the case, power-supply and hardrive, which is November of 2008.

It's only an issue if you feel it's an issue. If it does what you want - that's all that counts.

And the WEI is not meant to be taken seriously. It's just a little bit of fun. Very, very few people actually build rigs just to get a high WEI score.

I know I sure as hell don't :p

How is it letting you down? Is it not fast? Do things not open quickly? Don't sweat the WEI. Sure, bragging rights are nice, but if it makes you unhappy, it's not worth it ;)

Here's my windows 7 WEI scores:
Processor AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 215- 6.1
RAM 4.00 GB- 7.1
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 250- 6.9
Gaming Graphics 1791 MB Total available graphics memory- 6.9
Primary Hard Disk 313GB Free (441 GB total)- 5.9

And some other additional information:
System Type 32-bit operating system
Number of processor cores 2
64-bit capable Yes
Primary monitor resolution 1280x1024
DirectX version DirectX 10
So what do you guys think of my scores? My computer is used primarily gaming and surfing the internet, so it usually runs pretty well for what it's used for. I also think it's pretty neat how my computer came with everything except my current graphics card and PSU, and it didn't cost much either. One of the many reasons why I love Lenovo :)

Sorry there's no picture, it's 2 in the morning where I live and I don't really feel like uploading pictures :p
