I'm trying to squeeze 7.9 from my 3770k but my mobo could be the weak link? I'm a happy camper with my rig and no plans to upgrade for some time.......lol. Next project will be a rig built from old parts and plan to give to a friend who's in need and will greatly appreciate it !

I still have to find the case on sale and then I want to add the 3.4 phenom to my girl friends rig and pull the 2.8 from her rig for my friend. Thinking to upgrade her case then use that case now for my friend. What ever case he gets the rig will be banging for his basic web surfing/job hunting needs. He has a old dead/infected rig that we'll rob the monitor, keyboard, mouse and likely recycle the spinner from and maybe the optical drive if needed.
