With all default settings I was 7.2, a mild OC has helped. I can't get the cpu score over 7.4, I did manage to bring the others up .2-.3. Not bad for a $800 box I guess.

Faladu, have you tried different ssd settings? I made a minor improvement with my ssd by trying different combinations. Super gpu scores.

You've probably run WEI while the SSD is busy like indexing files or some programs autoupdating or volume shadow service. You can clear the scores and run WEI again. You probably get around 7.8 to 7.9 on the SSD.

I expect the motherboard does not support or have any sata 6GB/s ports, this will hold back the performance, I think that wei usually maxes out at around 7.7 on Sata 3GB/s ports.

I happened upon that screen with that description of the mobo just the other day too, and was not pleased, I had a this mobo blow out on me and replaced, but that was over a year ago, and no I am not OC'n a thing. [All I can say is DAMN my LUCK sux]

SSD wise, It was 7.5, I lost .2 and raised it back .1 doing a contiguous free space maneuver instead of a defrag and yeah it's on a 6.0 SATA.

Any other ideas welcomed, I am using Soluto and getting around 50 secs for total boot and ready to use times.

Figure I'll post my WEI of my new machine, not that it matters much. The only part holding it back is the CPU...I have it at a modest overclock, it could be higher above 4GHz but I held it back because I don't currently need it any higher.

logicearth, I regret to inform you of this, but it is my duty. That is the best WEI score you can get with Windows 7. If you overclock your CPU to it's maximum overclock, it will not get 7.9. You have the highest score you can get with Windows 7. You should be proud. Well done.

I got that same Dog but a E-450 GPU 6320 I put 8gb Patriot total in it started out with 4gb of what ever they throw into it from the mf. but I most definitely scored higher not by much though
