Downloading the chipset update now, 901 MB, this sound right ?

Turned out to be 4 GB total.

I did the reset for WEI a couple days ago. As far as your last resort suggestion, I'm not so sure about doing it.

WEI reset should not hurt anything, but if you've done it, I'm not sure it would help. The sysprep, is just a last resort thought. That is simply up to you.But, based on your winsat disk results and your wei score, something is wrong. I would like to see the results of an ATTO test. Personally, I like that test better anyway and in previous years, OCZ would only accept ATTO. It uses compressible data where AS SSD uses non compressible data. Are you sure you installed all the motherboard updates and all the windows updates? For some reason I can't figure out, there is a disconnect between winsat disk and WEI and AS SSD. Are you sure your SSD is connected to port 0 or Port 1 on your motherboard?

My chipset drivers are 253.86MB

I did install all MB updates and MS updates.

WEI has not changed. Here are ATTO and latest AS SSD.

I don't think it's an issue with any hardware or drivers now, like I said before I believe it's an issue with how WEI is reading it.

The drive is performing perfectly but WEI does not like it.

Why do you say a clean install ?

The AS SSD info says "Disk Drive" instead of listing the actual SSD brand and model like normal. I don't know if you should be using the AMD SATA ports or ASMedia, but it's obvious the WEI test is reading the hard drive as the main system drive. I would make sure the motherboard chipset and SATA drivers are correctly installed and updated, and THEN I would upgrade the firmware on the SSD. Call OCZ and have them walk you through it if you are worried about bricking it. If that doesn't work, I'd back up, and do a clean reinstall of Windows and install the newest drivers, updates, etc with ONLY the SSD plugged up.

Also, since it is easier to ask than read through all of the posts again........does your hard drive still have Windows 7 installed on it?

That is what I thought to Kelly, but he unhooked the hard drive and ran the ssd with the same result

The AS SSD changed since I updated the AHCI drivers, which are AMD drivers now. Previously they were rolled back to MS drivers and it stated AHCI. Post # 536 on page #54 shows a better comparison.

I don't know how WEI can be reading the HDD, I have done it both ways, w w/o connected.

No the HDD does not have Win7 on it.
How do I check if the drivers are infact installed properly ?

Why do you say a clean install ?

I said that because of how I do things, but I do not recommend that. Winsat Disk shows proper ssd results, but wei does not. You should do the wei reset essenbe posted, that should fix it

On your WEI page, right under your scores, open up "View and Print detailed performance and system information". Take a snippet, and post it please.

OK, the notes are interesting.

Kelly, look at his winsat disk, which is what WEI uses to determine WEI, they are all 7.9's, ATTO looks OK to me. But, for some reason there is a disconnect between winsat and WEI and AS SSD. He has updated all the drivers and, from all appearances, the SSD is running as it should, just not in AS SSD and WEI. The first AS SSD report showed it as an SSD it only changed AFTER he updated his drivers. Beside that, a mechanical hard drive would not score 10% of what AS SSD is showing. I can show you if you like. My 1TB Western Digital Black 1002FAEX scored 15 in AS SSD and took about an hour to run the test. I just can't figure out why is WEI giving it that score and why AS SSD is, take a look at winsat disk. Maybe you can see something we can't.

But, like Dude said, I'm Anal enough to do a reinstall to try to fix it. But according to him, it seems to be running well. But something is wrong.

I've looked at it all, and yes, the only problem is the Windows Index number for the storage device. It looks to be reading from the 96MB partition.
