bare foot kid. i only got 5.9 on the ssd. so i have no idea why if what you said is correct. thought some one might have some ideas.

I don't know m8, maybe someone will have an explanation; here's the WEI from that install of mine just so you can see that it read all the HDDs but only rated the SSD.

I'm curious about that myself!

might be it went over the tipping point
does your drive support trim?
and how big is it?
also look my post and check your scores..

you can do it by doing in a elevated command prompt
winsat query

and then to restest do

winsat disk -v

tipping point?

it is 64 gigs. oczssd2-1c64g. OCZ Technology | Products | End of Life | OCZ Core Series SATA II 2.5" SSD *EOL

Go into intel matrix storage manager and disable the hard drive data cash, and run WEI again, with one OCZ you should go from 5.9 to about 6.5, 2 about 7.1, and 3 about 7.5, two Intel X25's will hit 7.9.

3 OCZ's raid 0

kmore, i'll try what you suggested sometime this weekend and see what i get.

meaning that you used all blocks in your ssd...
once you have done that this is where people start experiencing slowdowns because some SSD do not do GC or TRIM

apart from that i reread that you just started using the ssd correct?
then that shouldn't happen i would advice to check KMoore4318 post if you have a intel MB..

Don't be too concerned with what the WEI has to say, if your machine does what you need it to do just be happy with that, it more a marketing tool than anything else anyway.

when I first found this post my WIE was 3.5, Nov. 22nd it dropped to 3.1 both caused by aero now I ran the test again just cause and its 3.8 what's up with that? why is it changing when nothing in this laptop has changed.

interesting thread, looks like I may know why my desktop performance is laggy.

I havent read every post but the 8800gt I found and the guys running 9600gt cards all have 7.9 for desktop graphics, I only have 6.8.
