But this machine gets a much higher aero score in WEI. Seems MS maybe in collusions with hardware vendors to help them shift hardware by artifically manipulating WIE scores. Anyone else noticed this?

id be surprised if this isnt the case
they are already artificially capping the Memory scores dont see why they wouldnt do the same to GFX scores..;)

Well, I've "upgrade" to a new Graphic Card, a 9400GT 512MB, I know is not the best, actually a low end card, but Im surprised that my wei has went down on that sub score

Before the "upgrade" my onboard Geforce 9100 256MB was giving me a 4.2.. weird:cry:

I wonder how much the drivers have to do with the score, I have to use Vista drivers to get things working correctly and when I try different drivers I get different scores. After I do a clean install I might see how much different driver version effect the score.

I believe drivers affect that score a lot, especially VGA.
