Anyone knows why I get a lower score for my processor with Intel E8400 as compared to E4600? Does different motherboard affects the score?

My computers' spec:

1st computer:
Intel E8400 @ 3.0GHz
Asus P5KPL/EPU
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
WEI Processor Score: 5.5
.... (rest are not that important, i think)

2nd computer
Intel E4600 @ 2.4GHz
Gigabyte 945GCM-S2L
OS: Used to run Windows 7 Home Premium
WEI Processor Score: 5.8
....

All motherboard bios and intel chipset drivers are updated.
