Shrinking Windows 7 to 2 gb

With moderate effort it is possible for 32bit. you eliminate all the components you will not use on your system. the install will be specfic to your system though and you cant use it to install on another system without complications. why not get a 4 gig drive instead?

Its much easier to get a 6/8gb flash drive, rather than vlite Windows.. and besides, this would only be for installing windows, not for using the flash drive as your primary partition for running the OS on a day to day basis...

Get hold of vlite 1.1.6 and install - then install 1.2 over the top ( optional).
Extract the files from the .iso - pick up the files with vlite - tick Bootable .iso and Components. Tick Languages - except the one you need ( that will remove them ) , next - let vlite do rebuild one - make the .iso.
iF it is 32 bit install media - that should be small enough. You have only removed the languages from the install media - only the one select during installation would be installed to the HD anyway.
Only takes a few minutes.
