Siberia Steelseries Frost Blue Edition USB Sound Card broken

Hello guys,

This is my very first post here, and I do have a big problem.

My PC recognizes the USB port, but the problem is that the headphones do not light and the sound also doesn't work.

How can I open the USB port, I am 99% sure that this is the problem I am having.

Thanks

PD: Sorry for my English, I am not a native speaker, so if you don't understand something, I'll try to edit the post.

It could be the Windows status is corrupt and the reason they are not connecting.

Connect the headset to the USB port then go to the Device Manager. There will probably be an unknown device listed in the USB section in the Device Manager. If there is, uninstall it in the Device Manager. Then disconnect the headset from the PC and reboot the PC. After Windows starts, plug the headset in and see if Windows finds new hardware and installs it (and the power light is on).

It is not a software problem, it is a phyisic problem. It is the USB device, I just want to open it.

If you don't know what is it, is this thing

"How to open the USB port" ?? I doubt that its a physical problem with the PC's USB port. If it were a physical problem with the USB port, plugging into a different USB port on the PC would work.

If it is a physical problem with the USB port jack, the only option is to replace it. All that I've seen cannot be repaired.
If you are referring to the plug on the headset, the same applies it can't be repaired.
